Outer Space Fantasies / Half Adams / Captain Harlock
Outer Space Fantasies
Just horsing around. A pencil for a fake erotic pulp magazine. I don’t usually do pin-up stuff but I figured, why not? I’ll color it later, so stay tuned.
Half Adams
When I contacted Patrick J. Adams to tell him that I would be doing a write-up up his photography, this is what he said,
“I’m allergic to cats and violence. And everything that happens at night turns me on and everything that happens during the day just scares me. [...] The only thing I can tell you about my pictures is that they are the only thing that keeps me out of my head and completely present in any given moment. It’s like my meditation. No one can hurt me there. Except cats. And violence.”
Couldn’t have said it better myself. These pictures are photographic meditation; an isolated eye, brooding with contemplation. There’s a lot of thought put into Patrick’s photography, not just technical know-how, but, it seems to me, elusive contemplative questions.
Any artwork that stimulates curiosity is always on it’s way to excellence.
Explore Patrick’s gallery, http://www.halfadams.com/ it’s wonderful.
Captain Harlock – Fanfilm
Have you ever seen Captain Harlock? It’s a classic anime about a SPACE PIRATE! It’s super-cool, I used to watch it dubbed in french on TV Ontario. Anyway, Miguel Mesas has done another Fanfilm based on this classic. If you’ve seen the original cartoon than this film will make you weep. If not, then you’ll be impressed by the dynamic images and I do mean dynamic.

That was great – I watched Harlock when I was in High School I think and I loved it. I’m gonna have to steal this and post it on Friday Fandom
Oh and “and then they were alone in the airlock” – LOL!
