This is a concept drawing for a short animated *experimental* film I did for Brett Kashmere’s Film II class, at Concordia. Incidentally it was drawn during one of Brett’s lectures. What can I say, his somber addresses were hypnotically inspiring.

I was first tuned into this increadible animation last week, courtesy of Tom Dell’Aringa’s write-up on www.maroonedcomic.com. Part of me was reticent to mimic my friend’s post but at the same time, this cartoon is too precious not to be heralded by all.
When I first saw it I was startled, to say the least. After about ten seconds, I knew I was watching something special. It’s a sort of masterpiece of abstract narrative, a kind of pure expression of animation and imagination. In that context, words fail. You just have to watch…
