Earlier today I was hanging out with my pal Elinor Svoboda. We were sitting in her kitchen talking about life and drawing. It was a great spread, of markers that is. I brought over a giant pile of prismacolor design markers and we had at it. All in all, a nice time, a lot of sketching, snack eating, coffee drinking and dog coddling.

This is based on some ideas my close friend Carolyn Laplante was tossing my way during a wonderful evening of coffee and gabbing. By the end of the night, she sent me home with a crumpled old piece of note-covered lined paper.
