Another mock-up, this time with a little less paint and little more line. It’s still not quite there but its coming along. Developing something as sophisticated and multi-layered as one of Daniel Beirne’s scripts is time consuming. Nevertheless, it makes for interesting artwork. I think.

This is a prepbot 5000 (or auto-chef), a character I’m designing for Young Gavin. It’s got a long way to go but I like the overall idea and design. I’ll definitely keep the dome shape.

He’s got a heart of gold… but will he ever find true love? Is there a giant robot women out there for him? Only time will tell. Until then, he’ll always combat injustice and protect the helpless against the forces of evil.

He’s was the greatest mall security robot in all of Paris 3030… At least, he was, until a time-travel accident propelled him back in time. Now he has to learn rules and regulations of our era and take care not to violate them.
